These terms apply to your use of this website and to estimating services ordered from Scope Precision Estimate (“we”, “us”). By using the site or ordering a service, you agree to them.

Quotes and orders

We review your drawings and send a quote with the scope, price and delivery date. Work starts once you accept the quote and any agreed payment is received. The accepted quote, together with these terms, forms our agreement. Discounts and promotional offers apply as stated in your quote and cannot be combined unless we say so.

Delivery times

Delivery times run from receipt of complete drawings and payment. Typical turnaround is 24–48 hours for most projects; rush available. Missing sheets, addenda or scope changes may extend the date, and we will tell you if that happens.

Revisions and scope changes

Reasonable corrections within the quoted scope are included. New drawings, addenda, added trades or design changes are scope changes and may be quoted separately.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. We may pause work on unpaid orders.

How to use our estimates

Our estimates and takeoffs are prepared from the documents you provide and from current cost data, and are opinions of probable cost. They are not a guarantee of final construction cost, bids or market prices. Quantities and prices should be reviewed by you before you bid, budget or sign contracts. You remain responsible for your bid, your contracts, code compliance and verifying field conditions.

Your documents

You confirm you have the right to share the drawings and documents you send us. We use them only to provide the service and keep them confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you may use the delivered estimate for your project. Our templates, methods and website content remain our property. Content on this site may not be copied or republished without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost bids.

Cost ranges and examples on this website are general information for planning only and are not a quote. We may change site content at any time.

Trademarks

Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Xactimate, RSMeans and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. We perform services in these tools and are not affiliated with their vendors.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you accept a quote applies to that order.
